i have a fascination with clouds. i can do nothing and watch them all day, and see them turn into shapes of my imagination. i once saw the shape of a devil that looks like he's crawling down towards earth. no kidding! is that a sign?

the weather's been crazy these days. been blowing hot and cold. maybe giving me ideas for feline weather wear. LOL!

8th August

on monday night i got sick with the flu, like always! and it sucks cuz its my birthday today!! im not too young and definitely not that old either! had a 3 day off cuz i took leave today cuz, who wants to work on their bdae man? at night, i met felix, ifah and luoyan at settler's cafe. had dinner and played some games. some that tests your reflexes, english words and construction(like tetris but blocking each other's blocks instead). it was fun though, especially the one abt using your hands to follow what is shown on the card. confusing! i being sick and all, deffo a bit slow to react, lost on both games. HAHA!

the construction game called blockus. apparently you have to block one another so the other can't branch out their blocks. and here's luoyan looking pretty pleased with herself and me still thinking of where to put mine.

... and me losing the game. i had the most cubes. i lost by 1 fucking cube. damn!

and the next game is this card game that had letters on them. you had to align 4 cards in front of you, and put your card 1 at a turn, and say out the word you are trying to make. if u cant make any word AT ALL, you have to take the longest word that has been spelled out, and start a new word. and i lost again!! cuz i had the most cards. i think i lost by 1 more card. dammmmiittt!

rauf came afterwards and told us his tales of taiwan. i had to leave midway, to fetch boon cuz he got lost. and during my midst of absence, the guys set up my presents and bdae cake. nice timing, even though i dont think boon getting lost was part of the plan. haha. thanks guys, i love u many many!

14th August

i left an hr early for work and met ifah and felix at kallang to watch gwen stefani live in concert at the indoor stadium!! we had a good a view of the stage, thanks to ifah's booking. and while waiting, we saw a few celebs. namely, rossalyn, beatrice and mark richmond, jean danker and her bf(forget name) and this model which i dont remember which ad she modelled for. she was damn pretty!! the concert started off at abt 830 to 845, with gwen's harajuku girls running around in the crowd and the police chasing them. they got "caught" and were brought up to the stage, where "the sweet escape" started to play. let me tell you gwen stefani is soooooooo drop dead gorgeous. she sings well live, as good as those on her albums. they had two big screens on the sides of the stage, and we could see her and the rest of the crew clearly. at one point she ran though the crowd and got up on a mini platform that was near to us. damn i got a clear pic of that heehee.

she continued running up to our area but at the other aisle and ran downstairs towards the left side of the crowd. i got a good shot of that too!! ifah was in hysterics. i think if gwen were to come up our aisle, she would have died grinning from ear to ear. just like her other shows, gwen couldnt stop running from here to there. she abso cant keep still! there was this one woman from her crew who did back up vocals and she sung damn well. if she were to have an album, i'd deffo buy it. i'm still reeling from her concert right now. sighh~ this entry is picture-less as ifah has not uploaded the photos/videos yet. hurry ifah!!

eventful day yesterday. i woke up at 11am to do dad's errands as he went to JB with mom early in the morning and i had to drop a cheque at tung centre, not before going to the post office to get the money order form. LECEH LAH! off day nak tido bgn lambat pun kena kacau je.

i went to the post office at around noon time and was expecting a long queue. HENG AH less than 7 people only. by the time i got to the counter, the queue was alllll the way to the back. and then there's this malay fat guy serving me and he said "u look familiar. have we met somewhere before?" and to which i replied "no i dont think so" and thought what a lame pick up line. and he asked me which sec sch i came from and happens that we were from the same school. but he's born in the 60s, way way far okay! so definitely never met before.

so off i went to tung centre to drop off the stupid cheque and went home. and got lost in raffles place interchange LOL. really spent my time walking around instead of waiting for the train which came in 5 mins. so i went home, bathed twinkle because she's stinky and sticky(yes cats sweat too so they become sticky) and now she smells like apple and her coat is shiny and soft. mmmmm... did i tell u i absolutely love cats? i love cats.

OuiOui has been shiokly and shamelessly slept on my bed and shared my pillow. i only fear that he bites my nose while i sleep. my cats all pampered, prefer to sleep on bed than on the floor, and nak aircon. menyampah.

in the evening, i met the poly people and went for dinner at sushi tei. it's like high class sushi because all the plates are nice, and the food nicely decorated, and also a lil bit pricier than sakae/genki. i resisted the temptation to steal the seashell shaped plate man. we finished at around 10 and headed towards dhoby direction for venezia gelato ice-cream at the formerly known st joseph school, or something(bad in history). i think now its called as Singapore Arts Museum(SAM) or something(bad memory).

the place already closed so we settled for coffee club further up ahead. we talk cock sing song eat stuff and be merry till i didn't realise it was nearly midnight. and while the rest are having the weekends off, i of course, had to work, and be up by 6am. shucks, just thinking of waking up early just automatically shut me down and i feel damn sleepy. or maybe it's because throughout the whole time, i can't keep still/keep my mouth shut. like nDee says it "you all can dont stop moving anot?" for a group picture. LOL.

and thanks guys for the vouchers. i can shop without feeling guilty of burning my pockets... maybe i can get new bras.... oops did i think that out loud?! hahahaha!
