last night.
i waited for a bloody cab to come my way for almost half an hr.
ooohhh there were available ones with glowing green lights on top.
but did they stop?
OOOOHHHH NOOOOOOOO!!!!! *shakes head furiously*
they just pretend they didnt see me or rather waved me a no.
and i noticed, they're chinese.
btw, im not trying to be a racist.
and ifah, pls dont take heart.

eh sickening u noe. i promised mum to be home at 10+ after i met midah at bugis and walked over to suntec. at 1030pm, i stood behind shaw towers to hail a cab. none came.
i thought probably by standing in front of shaw towers instead, my chances of getting a cab would be much MUCH higher. but there were a lot of reds and the most sickening part is the greens just wont pick u up. i'm guessing that its a fri night and the cabbies are driving aimlessly around hoping to get a call and pick up the passenger and get paid definitely more. eh no kidding! i read it in the papers sometime ago. this man hailed a green cab but failed and frustrated, he called for one. much to his surprise, a few mins later he got a cab and the cabbie was the one he hailed earlier.
frustrating la last night. due to not getting a cab, i got later and later to get home by the minute. i flagged like a mad woman, hoping to be seen by some cabbie with great eyesight and who is kind-hearted enough. and occasionally seeing that the opposite road had some green cabs, i ran across and back the pedestrian. JUST TO GET A FREAKING DAMN CAB!
knnbcc!!
midah suggested that we take a bus to her place and i take a cab there. but her bus stop was waaaaay over at the back of shaw house and i cant be bothered to walk anymore. frustrated, yet again, i decided to walk over to bugis and get the MRT, which was 5 minutes late. eh times like this ah, minutes are very precious. mummy will scream at me on the phone if she's not in a good mood. hyuk hyuk hyuk! some more i was out at 7 in the morn for skool and came back home at 11pm. G.R.EA.T.
i'm so freaking shagged. and i have CISCO to do. 3 of em and i hafnt started a single one. and its due by tmrw 3pm. but im too shaaaaaaaaaaged to even concentrate on doing. CISCO is precious and fragile. cant afford to fail the bloody damn thing.
need concentration.
shall sleep for awhile now.
will wake up probably at 4 or 5am to do.
siao eh?
waste my time.

*note*
u'd probably be thinking, "stoopid girl, u can just call a cab wad!"
i had only $8 with me. and who knows the taxi driver might drive a longer route, drive along the road with the most traffic lights or just pretend to get lost. see my point?

hari raya haji has always been a quiet affair for me ever since my grandma passed away back in 1999. so today, instead of going to granparent's house and other people's homes like other people usually do, my family decided to visit IKEA instead. weeee!

since it's a public holiday, its pretty logical that a wonderful place like IKEA would have more people swarming in, and with the chinese new year just around the corner. besides that, i'm a happy shopper at IKEA today! i bought wooden drawers to clear my cluttering dressing table, a photo filmstrip-like frame, another bigger wooden frame for just 6 bucks, and slim green glass vase to nicely fit one stalk of flower. i shopped more than my mum, even though it was their idea to go IKEA in the first place. as soon as i got home, i took out my drawer and started fixing it. ala ala carpenter......

carpenter for a day

finished assembly!

IKEA so nice! i got a cat free with my purchases! teehee!

ouioui being cautious with something new.

taa-dah! pic frames for picture-crazy me!

The birth date describes who we are, what we are good at and what our inborn abilities are. It also points to what we have to learn and the challenges we are facing. To figure out your Birth Number, add all the numbers in the birth date together like in the example until there is only one digit. The Birth Number does not prevent you from being anything you want, it will just color your choice differently.
Example:
March 20, 19503 + 20 + 1950 = 1973 = 1 + 9 + 7 + 3 = 20 = 2 + 0 = 2 .
2 is the Birth Number to read for the birth date in the example.
You are the _____,
#1 THE ORIGINATOR
#2 THE PEACEMAKER
#3 THE LIFE OF THE PARTY
#4 THE CONSERVATIVE
#5 THE NONCONFORMIST
#6 THE ROMANTIC
#7 THE INTELLECTUAL
#8 THE BIG SHOT
#9 THE PERFORMER

uds is......

# 3 - THE LIFE OF THE PARTY
3's are idealists. They are very creative, social, charming, romantic, and easygoing. They start many things, but don't always see them through. They like others to be happy and go to great lengths to achieve it. They are very popular and idealistic. They should learn to see the world from a more realistic point of view.
Famous 3's: Alan Alda, Ann Landers, Bill Cosby, Melanie Griffith, Salvador Dali, Jody Foster.

idealist? maybe.
creative? so-so. messy and disoriented room proves everything.
social? err.. dont think so? people fear my arrogant face before talking to me.
charming? depends on my mood.
romantic? NO.
easygoing? i live with constant worry and fear.
start many things, but don't always see them through - sooooo true.
like others to be happy - who doesnt?
popular? no. i'm a boring pathetic girl that nobody wants to befriend.
should learn to see the world from a more realistic point of view - yes i should. my thinking is still childish. guide me ohhh wise one.

i went to watch yesterday's Tiger Cup Finals with am, sharil, his cuzzies, his forummer fren, midah, ubai their frens, also from my past. yani and ridz were supposed to sit with us but then cuz of a miscommunication, didnt manage to. *LOL* me n yani, fuckin dramatic eh beb? but me glad it's over now yarrrrrrrr..

anyway, i'm a virgin to watching LIVE soccer matches. not LIVE as in sit at home and watch it telecasted by satellite hor. i mean sit in stadium okay. i dont favour the game actually. hell, the only time i watched soccer was during FIFA, years ago. because my uncles n aunts were so in on it, i joined in for fun. i've never even watched singapore matches before. simply because, i am not footie-crazie.
and i wondered what i was doing when i arranged for our tickets(including mine) with midah over the phone when she called me up and said the tickets have already been sold out, and her friend has some lobangs to where we can get. i figured since most of my friends are going and they said it's going to be a good game, i said why not. or rather i was forced to go. hehe.. moi first time watching a soccer match in a stadium. hurry go buy 4D, sure win!
the crowd atmosphere was great! i hate the kallang wave tho, mcm merepek gitu. like waste time bangun 1 sec and duduk balik. siao! but i love it when singapore or indo is heading for a goal and everyone is up on their feet trying to get a good view. if singapore scores a goal, everyone's ecstatic, and waved at the indo fans as a sign of mockery. and the referee kayu thingy, the 'stadiumquake' before the kallang wave comes thingy, the 'steal-a-newspaper-from-the-guy-in-front-and-tear-into-confetti' thingy, the buto clap thingy, and the cursing and swearing. i love it i love it i really really do!
i mean, yeah i feel great singapore won the Tiger Cup and won a whopping US$100,000. it's not everyday singapore football fans are triumphant right? it's something to be proud of! OMG, i sound so bodek2 singapore! ah heck.
during the awards ceremony, some cardboard wall obstructed our view so we decided to leave after some guy ran across the padang with the shiny gold trophy. dont ask me names of players and who scored when. i've not mastered player names as yet. i only know, subramaniam subramani. the guy with the outstanding gold hair against dark skin(Agu Casmir). aahhh.. climb baby steps!
*this post has been editted. had wrong player names earlier. OOPS!

we left and walked over to kfc for supper and hung around for abit, almost until kfc closed. i got home at nearly midnight and my mum didnt even scream. haha! but she called me before that when i was eating. and she didnt scream while asking either. pelik tapiiii.. benar.
so uhm, will i consider another football match, or something? perhaps, perhaps, perhaps? no harm in asking me right? hehe

ipah! u've finally turned 19! dah besar adeq kakak! tsssssk! we had an early celebration for her yesterday by having dinner at newton, and then walked all the way to town cuz it was near. yani was complaining of pain because her feet meleceted due her pointy shoes so we sat at McCafe Lido. while we were there, we played nonsense games suggested by the Master of Nonsense, Am. although nonsense and all, it's much fun and lotsa laughter and the last Truth Game was pretty wild. *LOL* ssshhh! sorry, the truths are kept among our circle of trust, so no disclosure of information is allowed! we made so much noise that probably the people sitting there were cursing and swearing at us. so what! celebration and T.G.I.F mood were with us! and 1 one thing i wont forget, was the time at newton where we made ifah cry in just a second just by saying we bought her an E.T doll. HAHAHA! i'm so mean, i know.

pics r uploaded at the usual album spot. for those who know, go see! for those who dont, i'll just give a lil' peek..

happy bdae my belo fren *hugs*

boring steamed tofu and tasteless steamed carrots and brocolli. that's what's on the menu for ninie's detox diet. detox shmetox. i think sad food would suit much better.
my cuzzin got admitted to sgh on monday when she fainted so i went to visit her yesterday after school. and she tells of her 3 day stay so far. she got poked in her left arm for 9 times cuz the nurse couldnt find her vein, poked in her butt, attached a tiny poking tube thingy on the back of her left hand for drawing blood, and poked many2 times in many2 places. me, having aichmophobia(fear of needles especially), was damn irked. i could actually feel needles poking me everywhere. i noe i noe, i'm such a drama queen..

i cant stand the sight of injections, or having poked by one. i get spasms and break into nervous laughter with tears running down my cheeks. pelik tapi benar. kelakar eh tapi acherli tak klakar. this phobia has been with me ever since young. ever since primary one injections. but that was controllable cuz the medicine they gave me before the injection tasted of cherry. it sure won my trust. like duhh, i outgrew cherry medicine when i got into secondary school.
nurses who come to secondary schools for check-ups annually sure are mean. they poke needles into u like there's no tomorrow, and make sure u feel the bloody damn thing poke in, move under your skin, and poke out a few centimetres away with great skill that it makes me cry out with such satisfaction. AS IF. nuff' said lah.

i got home at 10+ and decided to do CISCO immediately before i procrastinated for a rest and suddenly fall asleep. i'm dead beat. spent 2 damn hours doing the bloody thing with sha, but she gave up halfway and left me to suffer thru the night doing it alone. u cold-hearted bitch. finally showered at 1am and fell asleep soon after. and here i am, 8+ am half-willingly in database class, where no one actually really listens to the lecturer. i desperately need more than 8 hrs of sleep soon. i'm beginning to look like cute panda. OOPS! puke now or forever hold ur peace. :)

Subject: Advice from "white dragon king"...

The Tsunami happened in SW countries of China was predicted by the Chinese
traditional farmer prediction system accurately. It also tell there is
another one in NE countries of China (Japan and Korea) in 2005. Which is
being confirmed by the geographical scientist already. So, don't plan your
trip to Korea or Japan in 2005.
One more thing, I guess you may heard about the "White Dragon King" in
Thailand, right? Michael's friend went to Thailand and visit him before 26
Dec. The White Dragon King asked her to leave Thai immediately as there is
a disaster coming. So she left and escape from the disaster. However, he
also asked her not to go outside and stay at home in HK on 8 Feb (Year 30th) after 9:00 pm. He said something bad will happen in HK at that period. Inform your families or friends if possible.

sure anot? probably just a scam right? but it's better to be safe than sorry sometimes. maybe if u're planning a trip to these places, u could put them off for a little while.. just maybe.. who knows their predictions are true?

wasted time after school today at the library with my 2 usual bitches, yani and ifah. we rented 2 LDs(outdated siol!), The Wizard of Oz and The Land Before Time II(cartoon). the cartoon was boring, i almost fell asleep a few mins after watching. then we switched to a bigger tv and watched Wizard of Oz instead. halfay thru the movie, ifah and yani's itchy hands kept playing with the voice level and made the casts speak in low pitched tones like bapoks and high pitched tones that are just plain sissy n irritating. and there's this magazine that has some mighty huge boobs at the back and it looks as if its yours if u just put the magazine on u. fuckin hilarious baby.
the pic below kinda freaky yeah? it's as if the dead are stretching out for help from their graves.

new year '05
goodbye 2004.
hello 2005.

actually, i dont think that it's a good start to a new year. with the tsunami taking its toll and taking numerous lives, causing destruction in its path. and very bad weather that probably adds on to the misery to the tsunami affected areas. i offer my deepest condolences to those who've lost families and are struggling to keep themselves alive. it got me thinking that i'm probably lucky to be living in singapore.
the weather also made me become lazy and wanna lie in bed under my blankie the whole day. my toes are freezing cold. and i have difficulty eating due to my ulcer. my tongue screams murder everytime i put food into my mouth.
some of us celebrated the new year by bunking over at ifah's hse. we played nonsense games til morning(for those who survived til 5am), ate meatball pasta that we made together from scratch with loveee(except the pasta sauce), opened up 3 bottles(NON-alcoholic), had fruit yoghurt dessert, junk food and ice cream. yummy yum yum! no new year resolutions for me, cuz i tink u can just make a resolution at any time, any day. pictures of celebration are up! to those who know, kindly find ur way to my photo album!
